We offer porcelain veneers as a way to perfect patients' smiles. They are made from very thin layers of porcelain that are bonded to the front of your teeth using dental cement. But first, we'll need to create a model of your teeth/mouth in order to personalize your veneers to suit and match the rest of your natural teeth. The model will be sent to a dental lab and your veneers will be custom-made and then sent back to us. Before the veneers are placed, your teeth will need to be reshaped, therefore, your enamel will be shaved down. Now your new smile is one step closer to being complete.
Chipped Teeth
If you have minor cracks or chips on your front teeth, porcelain veneers can permanently improve their shape and function. Cracks should also be dealt with in a timely manner. If it's just a minor crack where your tooth enamel can be shaved down a thin cover bonded to the tooth, we'll use porcelain veneers. If it's more major, we'll discuss other treatment options.
Small Gaps
Gapped spaces can leave patients with low self-esteem. They can hinder the appearance of your smile and also negatively affect your oral health due to teeth shifting. By adding a thin coating of porcelain to the front of your teeth, small gaps can easily be filled, leaving you feeling much more confident in your smile.
Misshapen Teeth
If you have teeth that are crooked, bent inwards, or that have pits or bumps, porcelain veneers can be used to reshape them into your desired shape so they have a nice, natural look. They'll completely restore your smile and camouflage any defects that left you feeling like you previously needed to hide your smile.
